Saturday morning services will underscore the connection between Shabbat and creation, and will be followed by a Kiddush luncheon. The post-kiddish limud will continue the study of environmental stewardship, YISHUV OLAM ~ our covenant to care for the earth, through text. We will debate wanton and sacred destruction : How do we choose what is sacred destruction and acceptable and wanton destruction and not acceptable
We will discuss how to practically uphold the mitzvah of Bal Tashchit, using criteria of 18 guidelines to sacred destruction.

Please register so we know how many chairs and food to have. 10:00 am - Shabbat Services* 12:30 pm - Kiddush Luncheon 1:00 pm - Learning with Rabbi Nina Beth Cardin *Bring your children for Youth programming 10:30 am- 11:15 am - Tot Shabbat 11:15 am - 12:00 noon - Youth Program Childcare provided from 10 am until the end of the program.
