High Holiday

WELCOME TO CHEVREI TZEDEK
All Children/Teens are welcome to take part in our High Holiday programs!

For the first time ever, teenagers will have their own “Teen Space” in the Library 
from 9 to 11 a.m.  and from 1 to 1:30 after the teen events on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.

ROSH HASHANAH - DAY 1 
Monday, September 30, 2019

CHILDCARE for age 2 & up: 9 - 11 am and 11:45 - 1:30 pm in Room 2

K'TANIM for Young children, 11 - 11:45 a.m. in Room 1
Calling all 3 - 8-year-olds (and their loved ones)!
Join us for song, prayer, story, games, and learning about the momentous days of Rosh Hashanah. 
Snacks & shofar blasts included!
Adult Leaders: Rebecca Shargel and Audrey Potter     Teen Leaders: Eli Golding and Odelia Elliott

Junior Congregation for Children 2nd - 7th, 11 - Noon  in the Library
Calling all 2nd - 4th graders
Join us for singing, prayer, and conversation!

B’nei Mitzvah Chug,  Noon - 12:30 p.m. in Room 1
For 6th and 7th graders only
Join us for a mystery activity as you prepare for your bar or bat mitzvah!

Join us for a lively and meaningful conversation on Nonviolent Communication.
Facilitators: J. Little and Liz Simon-Higgs
Is honesty always the best policy? When we say, "I feel..." are we expressing a feeling? When is it okay to give advice? We know almost nothing about most people we encounter. But we can understand and reduce harm, and build love and freedom and strength, with the tools of nonviolent communication.
