Dear Chevrei Tzedek Member,
The Rabbinic Search Committee invites you to meet our outstanding candidates on the following upcoming dates:
March 4 - Rabbi Faith Cantor
March 11 - Rabbi Marci Jacobs
Each candidate will deliver a D’var Torah and lead a portion of the service. Join us after each service for lunch and a Question & Answer session with the candidate. The services will be livestreamed. Unfortunately we are not able to livestream the Q&A.
Following these visits, we look forward to hearing congregants’ feedback. We will formally survey the community after the candidates’ visits and will also host an information session with the Rabbinic Search Committee by Zoom on Monday, March 13th from 7-8pm in the Virtual Sanctuary. Of course, you are also welcome to contact any member of the search committee by phone or e-mail (shechunot@gmail.com).
Thereafter, the Search Committee will make a recommendation to the Coordinating Committee. The Coordinating Committee will then make a formal recommendation to the congregation. The community will vote whether or not to approve the recommendation at a special Community Meeting on Zoom to be held Sunday March 26th.
L’Shalom,
The Rabbinic Search Committee
Irwin Weiss, Jeanne Glazer, Elissa Hozore, David Saltzberg, Becky Pearlman
